Man's shooting spree through Hillsboro, Cornelius leaves two dead

A police chase that began Saturday afternoon in Hillsboro, with a man shooting off a gun in traffic, ended in Cornelius with the shooter's death by law enforcement gun fire. One of the shooter's victims, a man in his 50s from Hillsboro, also has died.

Wash. couple pleads guilty in animal-cruelty 'ring'
Jason and Serenna Larsen have pleaded guilty to six felony counts of first-degree animal cruelty in Everett, Wash., court Friday. If convicted, each could be sentenced to up to 12 months in prison.
