PORTLAND, Ore. - Many men don't know how to help their wives, mothers or sisters deal with breast cancer.

That's why there's a non-profit called Men Against Breast Cancer and their goal is to educate and empower men to be effective caregivers.

Don Hudson is Oregon's ambassador to the group. Back in 2005, he did a fundraising walk to support a friend's battle with breast cancer and noticed there weren't very many men in the crowd. He wanted to do something to change that, so he joined Men Against Breast Cancer.

"As men, we're kind of programmed to fix things," he said. "That's what we want to do. And you can't fix this."

The group offers workshops on how to help the women they love. They also have a number of guidebooks on coping.
