Lauren Allison
Lauren Allison joined KATU in September of 2007as the traffic anchor for the KATU Morning News.
A native to the Northwest, Lauren grew up in both Portland and Eugene, and spent many hours over the years getting to know Interstate 5. She attended West Linn High School and graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Oregon. She started her career in Eugene where she was a sports intern at KVAL and then a news intern for KEZI. She got her first job as a news reporter at KEZI in 2006. Lauren is excited to be back in Portland. She loves sports and when shes not talking about traffic, you'll probably find her watching a game or doing something active. She most enjoys spending time with her daughter, family and friends. |
