Kerry Tomlinson wants to hear your stories of consumer fraud, rip-offs and scams. She brings more than a decade of investigative reporting experience to KATU, helping people fight fraud, protecting viewers from crime, keeping people safe from financial and health dangers, and much more.
She has won three Emmy's, as well as a National Iris, a national Scripps Howard Award, and numerous Associated Press, Society of Professional Journalists, and Radio and Television News Director's Association awards.
Kerry has worked in Portland for ten years, and before that, reported for KXLY in Spokane. She has also worked in broadcast news in Spain, the Philippines, Washington D.C. and San Francisco. She travels to foreign countries to investigate stories, including Mexico, Canada and Russia, and speaks Spanish and Russian.
Kerry has worked in all aspects of broadcast news, from radio to television, including reporting, anchoring, producing and even weather. What she enjoys most is helping uncover wrongdoing and protecting you, the viewer.
