Joe Raineri
Award-winning journalist Joe Raineri is excited to be back in Portland where he grew up. Before arriving at KATU, he spent a couple of years touring the state - with stops in Bend at the Fox affiliate working as an anchor, reporter and photographer. After the High Desert, he headed west of the Cascades where he worked at KVAL in Eugene as a reporter and weathercaster for three years. Joe is a graduate of Oregon State University, and is close to completing his meteorology program from Mississippi State University. When he’s not combing over weather maps you can find him on the golf course or, during the winters, snow shoeing with his wife and college-sweetheart Kate.
