Standard KATU contest rules

Prizes must be picked up weekdays between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM at KATU, 2153 NE Sandy Bl, Portland OR 97232. Winners have one week from date of contest to claim prizes. Prizes let for longer than a week will be considered forfeited. Event tickets will be held until 4:00 PM on the last business day before the concert. Tickets not picked up in accordance with these rules will be forfeited. Failure to claim a prize will result in caller being ineligible for future contests. KATU is not responsible for delivering prizes to prize winners.

Who Can Enter
No purchase necessary.
Contest open to legal U.S. citizens 18 years of age or older.
Must be resident of Oregon or SW Washington.
Employees (and their immediate family members) of Fisher Communications, sponsor company, and their respective parent and affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, are not eligible to enter.
For prizes $499.00 or less, entrants/households are eligible to win one time in a 30-day period. For prizes $500.00 or more, entrants/households are eligible to win one time in a 12-month period. Only one entrant per household during the aforementioned time periods.
Entrants may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the producers.

Be the correct caller to the number on the screen
Failure to comply with official rules will result in disqualification.

Prizes and approximate Total Value of Prize vary.
No substitution or cash redemption allowed.
Prize may not be sold or traded and is non-transferable.
Prize must be picked up at KATU during normal business hours. Prize cannot be mailed to winner.
Prize must be claimed within one week (7 days) of winning or will be considered forfeited.
Event tickets are forfeited if not picked up by the last close of business before the event.
Not responsible to substitute prizes in the case of Event cancellation.

If for any reason the telephone-related portion of this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including tampering, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other cause which interrupts or threatens the administration, security or integrity of the Contest, KATU reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the Contest or any portion of the Contest and award the prize at the sole discretion of KATU management. Any attempt to damage or undermine the fair and legitimate operation of this contest will result in disqualification from the contest.

All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Any applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and release sponsoring company, Fisher Communications, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates and directors, officers and employees from any liability, injuries or damages arising from participation in the contest or the prize awarded.
Entry constitutes permission to use winner’s name, likeness and address (city/state) for publicity purposes without further compensation (except where prohibited by law).
