In conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the popular Hillsdale Farmers Market, the Sunday Hillsdale Springfest will include music, an art fair (at neighboring Rieke Elementary School), an afternoon wine and beer garden, a composting demonstration, a plaza ribbon cutting, face painting, free pedicab rides to shops offering numerous specials and free demonstrations and other events to be announced.
The farmers market will also include a Toyota-sponsored food tasting, part of Toyota’s “Farm to Table Tour” of farmers markets. New Toyota Prius models will be on display.
The day begins with a free coffee tasting at Starbucks at 9:30 a.m. The market and art fair open at 10 a.m. The ribbon cutting ceremony is at 1 p.m. The wine and beer garden, with music, starts at 1:30 p.m. and ends around 6 p.m.
