Chocolate Strawberries

Recipe courtesy of The Flat Belly Diet

Preparation time: 3 minutes / Cooking time: 8 minutes     Cooling time: 30 minutes / Makes 4 servings

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (MUFA)
  • 1 tablespoon fat‑free milk 20 ripe medium strawberries

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the chocolate and milk in the top of a double boiler set over boiling water. Reduce the heat to medium and allow the chocolate to melt, about 3 minutes. Stir until the mixture is smooth. Remove from the heat.
  3. Holding by the stem, dip each berry into chocolate, coating three‑quarters of the way up. Place on the parchment, leaving 1" of space around each berry.
  4. Chill for 30 minutes to set the chocolate.

One Serving: 222 calories, 2 g protein, 31 g carbohydrates, 13 g fat, 7.5 g saturated fat, 0 mg cholesterol, 7 mg sodium, 4 g fiber
