Stuffed Sausage Mushrooms


  • 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 lb. spicy sausage
  • 24 fresh mushrooms
  • ½ cup diced proscuitto
  • ½ cup sliced water chestnuts


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Mix sausage, prosciutto, and cream cheese together in a bowl.
  3. Remove stems from mushrooms and line caps on cookie sheet.
  4. In bottom of each mushroom, put half slice of water chestnut.
  5. Spoon sausage mixture into mushroom caps.
  6. Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes.
