Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 large unbaked pie shell
  • 4 large beaten eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 cups nuts (pecan or walnuts)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place nuts on bottom of unbaked pie crust.
  3. Combine next 6 ingredients and pour mixture over nuts. 
  4. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
  5. Serve with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
