Turkey & Swiss Pull-Apart

Cook Time: 20-30 minutes


Yield: 4-6 servings

16 oz-Jennie-O Turkey Store™ Premium Seasoned Cracked Pepper Turkey Breast*, thinly sliced

1 loaf-Baguette or Italian bread

4 oz-Swiss cheese, sliced

1 medium Red onion, thinly sliced

¼ cup-Butter, melted

½ tsp.-Garlic powder

Procedure:


1.Without slicing completely through the baguette, make diagonal cuts approximately every ½” – ¾” for a total of 12-16 cuts in the loaf.

2.Mix butter with garlic powder and set aside.

3.Place baguette on parchment paper and brush each slice lightly with garlic butter, using about ½ of it. Reserve remaining butter.

4.In each slice, arrange 1 oz Swiss cheese, 2 oz of JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE Cracked Pepper Turkey Breast, and an onion ring.

5.Continue inserting turkey and cheese between all slices.

6.Slowly pour remaining garlic butter over the whole loaf, allowing for the butter to go into the slices.

7.Wrap the loaf with parchment, and then with heavy-duty aluminum foil, and loosely seal.

8.Bake at 400° F for about 20-30 minutes.

Variations:


1.Merchandise with salad and soup, or as an appetizer for a crowd.

Any variety of JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE Turkey or Chicken Breast can be used in this recipe
