Broiled Yukon Gold Potatoes


  • 1-2 lbs Yukon Gold Potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Garlic salt
  • Ground oregano


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Slice potatoes lengthwise in ¼ inch thick slices (leaving skins on).
  3. Brush with olive oil
  4. Season with salt and pepper, adding a touch of garlic salt  to each
  5. Top with ground oregano.
  6. Place potatoes on cookie sheet or broiling pan  in 400 degree oven
  7. Bake for about 4-6 minutes
  8. Then move pan to top rack and broil on high (make sure 8-10 inches away from element) until turned golden brown (approx. 4-5 minutes).
  9. Arrange 4-5 pieces on each plate in a flower pattern. Serve with Roasted Pork Tenderloin & Merlot-Mushroom Sauce
