This is similar to a Frittata or Strata but with my own twist. This is easy and fast. You can modify this recipe to fit your own needs or family taste. For a Sunday brunch or early dinner especially during the fall and winter months this recipe is a hit at the table.

•  6-8 slices bread, buttered & trimmed
•  1 ½ lb. sausage, browned & drained
•  2 tsp. Mustard
•  12-14 Eggs, beaten
•   4 oz sliced mushrooms
•   ½ cup chopped onions
•  1 ½ c.  (1 can) evaporated milk or  Half & Half
•  Lots of shredded Colby Jack cheese
•   ½ cup sliced olives
•   Salt & Pepper, to taste   

1.  Place bread in greased 9x13 pan
2.  Spread with sausage, onions and mushrooms
3.  Combine mustard, egg & milk and pour over sausage
4.  Top with cheese and olives
5.  Bake at 350° for 25-35 minutes (until center is firm)

        Serves six people
