Puffins Cafe: Fish Tacos and Blackberry Salsa

Ingredients

Blackberry Salsa:
serves 4

  • 1 cup Blackberries
  • 1 cup chopped Yellow Bell Peppers
  • 1 cup of chopped Red & Yellow Onions
  • 1/2 tea. Jalapenos
  • 3 tbsp. Lime Juice
  • 3 tbsp. chopped Mint

Lime Cream Sauce:
serves 4

  • 1 cup Mayo
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tbsp. minced Garlic
  • 3 tbsp. Lime Juice

Fish Taco:
serves 1

  • 1 Flour Tortilla
  • 4 oz. grilled or crusted Halibut
  • 2 oz. shredded Pepperjack Cheese
  • Handful of shredded Lettuce
  • 2-3 tbsp. Lime Cream Sauce
  • Garnish with Lime

 

 

Directions

Blackberry Salsa:

  • Mix all ingredients in bowl until thoroughly mixed to your taste of chunkiness.
  • Serve with tortilla chips and/or top onto taco

Lime Cream Sauce:

  • Mix all ingredients in bowl until creamy

Fish Taco:

  • Grilled Halibut in a skillet until brown and cooked on medium for a few minutes
  • Warm tortilla either in microwave or on stove until warm and bendable
  • Add Cheese, Lettuce, Halibut, and Lime Cream Sauce into tortilla
  • Roll tortilla burrito style and garnish with Lime
