Sour Cream Brown Sugar Ice Cream

The perfect homemade ice cream for summer. The tangy accentuates the flavor of the berries!


  • 2 cups  sour cream
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 ¼ cup  dark brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp  vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp.  salt


  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Place in the refrigerator and chill thoroughly.
  3. Pour into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's directions.
  4. Store in the freezer.
