Holiday Pumpkin Bars

2 Cups   All purpose flour
2 teaspoons  baking powder
2 teaspoons  cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 2/3 Cups sugar
1   15oz Can Pumpkin
4  eggs
1 Cup  oil
¾ cup  toasted, chopped pecans
1 recipe frosting

1. Preheat oven to 350. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat together sugar, pumpkin, eggs and oil on medium speed. Beat in the flour mixture until well mixed. Stir in pecans.
2. Spread batter in an ungreased 13x9x2 baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until toothpick is clean. Cool, frost, cut. I put a whole toasted pecan on each for decoration.
2   3 oz pkg Cream cheese
½ Cup   butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 Cups  powdered sugar

Allow cream cheese and butter to stand at room temp until soft. In a large mixing bowl beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla with mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until consistency is correct.
** This makes more frosting than is necessary – I usually cut it down by a third.

These are so yummy and moist – decadent!
