Sweet Dill Pickles

Sweet Dill Pickles from The Cowboy Cook Jeff Tracy

  • 1/2 gallon dill pickles
  • 2½ cups sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  1. Rinse jar and pickles. Cut pickles into chunks.
  2. Put pickles back into jar. Pour sugar and vinegar over pickles.
  3. Replace lid and shake. Shake again until sugar dissolves.
  4. Refrigerate overnight.  Shake again before serving.
