From the Spice Girls to Dancing with the Stars Melanie Brown has managed to revinvent herself several times. These days Mel and her husband,  Stephen Belafonte, (a film and television producer as well as her business partner and best friend) , raise and her two daughters from prior relationships—Angel , 3 (with Eddie Murphy) and Phoenix, 11 (with ex-husband Dutchman Jimmy Gulzar)—under one happy roof in Los Angeles while running a production company and managing Mel’s busy career.

All of this can be seen in a new docu-comedy series, “Mel B: It’s A Scary World” (premiering  September 5th at 9:00 pm on Style Network) that will show her juggling her multi-faceted career and raising her family while  still finding time for her husband—all with style, a sense of humor and a serious does of “Girl Power.”  The leggy superstar, dynamic author and candid television personality has gone from party girl to power mom and wife with the  same outspoken personality and no-holds-barred approach to life that thrust her into the headlines.
