BedCo Caring for the Community

BedCo Mattress Superstores continues to donate mattresses to Salvation Army charities through their "Caring for the Community" campaign.  As the factory direct outlet for Restonice beds (the beds are made right here in the Portland area), Bedco will donate a new mattress to a Salvation Army charity for every Restonic Mattress sold  -- through the end of December.

Mike Vanier, of BedCo Mattress Superstores, says they hope to donate over 500 mattresses by the end of the year.

For the month of November the mattresses will go to Salvation Army's Silvercrest Residence -- housing and supporting low-income seniors.

Since the residents at Silvercrest furnish their own apartments, Major Ronda Gilger -- who works to support women and seniors for the Salvation Army -- says the the BedCo donations will be life changing for the seniors who would not otherwise be able to afford a new bed.

BedCo Mattress Superstores has four locations in the Portland area.

You'll find more information about Silvercrest Residence at the Salvation Army  Portland Metro website.
