New Oregon Law Requires CO Alarms

Lt. Damon Simmons with Portland Fire and Rescue joined us to talk about an Oregon law that took effect April 1st, requiring many homes and apartments to have carbon monoxide detectors installed to help detect the colorless, odorless, tasteless and potentially deadly gas.

Kidde, the leading manufacturer of fire safety products, urges all homeowners to take action as part of their spring home improvement projects and install CO alarms in your home.
