Get a Great Night's Sleep

According to the National Sleep Foundation, less than half of Americans report that they get a good night's sleep every night.  Lifestyle Expert Amy Sewell shared some tips for helping the entire family get a restful night's sleep.

Select bedding that fits your body and sleep style.  Pillows should support your head and neck properly, so look for pillows specifically designed for side, stomach or back sleepers.  The PedicSolutions Advanced Contour Memory Foam Pillow is a good option for side sleepers.

Control the noise.  The HoMedics SoundSpa sound machine with natural sounds offers therapeutic sound programs, including white noise, so you can select sounds that work best for you.

Keep out the light.  Turn off phone and computer screens, and use room darkening curtains to keep out city lights or sunlight.  Room darkening curtains also provide noise reduction qualities and energy-saving insulation.

Create a nighttime routine that helps you wind down for the evening.  You probably establish an evening routine for your children, so why not do this for yourself?  For most women, that routine includes cleansing the face and using products to hydrate and regenerate skin while we sleep.  FANGO Active Mud for Face and Body can be used as a deep cleansing, moisturizing mask to detoxify, tone and polish skin.

Don’t Forget The Pets – You’ll sleep more soundly if your pets are resting comfortably.  This stylish Ultimate Classic Dog Bed provides a restful place for Fido to snooze, and you’ll love that the MiracleLoft fill is made from recycled plastic bottles.
