Meagan Johnson, author of "Generations, Inc.," joined us to talk about how to get the most from an age-diverse workplace with five generations working together:  Traditionals, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Generation Y and Linksters.

  • The Traditional Generation -- Born pre-1945 (66+ years-old), 8% of workforce
  • Baby Boomers -- Born 1946-1964 (47-65 years-old), 30% of workforce
  • Generation X -- Born 1965 - 1980 (31-46 years-old), 17% of workforce
  • Generation Y -- Born 1981 - 1995 (16-30 years-old), 25% or workforce
  • The Linkster Generation -- Born after 1995 (15 & younger), 18% of workforce
