Oregon's Cosmo Bachelor Tal DeWitt

Tal DeWitt needs your votes!  The Battle Ground, Washington, native is Oregon's nominee for Cosmopolitan magazine's Bachelor of the Year.   DeWitt lives in McMinnville and attended Linfield College where he played tennis.

You can check out Tal and his competition online and vote from now until October 16. The top 10 bachelors with the most votes will be named semifinalists, and a panel of Cosmo editors will choose one of those lucky guys to be Bachelor of the Year and receive $10,000. The announcement will be made on October 18 when all the bachelors gather in New York City at Arena for the annual Cosmo Bachelor Party hosted by Editor-in-Chief Kate White.

In the November issue, the men describe themselves and reveal what they’re looking for in a girlfriend, including their top turn-ons and dating deal-breakers. The feature also includes e-mail addresses for all the guys, so readers have a chance to connect with them. Plus, this year readers can reach out to the bachelors via Twitter—all they have to do is tweet @CosmoOnline with why their favorite should date them in 140 characters or less.

“We’ve found men from every part of the country who are perfect boyfriend material—fun, sexy, nice, and full of personality,” said White. “We’re delighted to introduce our readers to this year’s group. Many former bachelors have met their girlfriends, and even their wives, through the Cosmo Bachelor Contest, and I won’t be surprised if it happens this time too."
