Proper Portion Sizes for Kids
Getting your kids to eat healthy starts at home, with how YOU eat. Registered Dietitian Lori Brizee, MS, RD, CSP, author of the new book Healthy Choices, Healthy Children: A Guide to Raising Fit, Happy Kids, joined us to share some tips on feeding kids proper portions. She also notes that if your kids aren't eating the meal you serve, they may be snacking too much. Lori says make sure they've had at least 2-4 hours between meals and snacks before eating again.
