Lilacs for Mother's Day

Richard Blooms of R Blooms in Lake Oswego showed us how to prepare spring's freshest flower, the lilac.

Richard showed us when lilacs where ready to be cut and just how to do so, using a hammer, so they can drink the water.

He made bouquets using leaves and euphoria. He also showed us how to make bows from red dogwood, which is pliable.

We were also taught to make a floral bouquet by placing floral foam on a plate.

These creations and more can be seen at R Blooms in Lake Oswego at 449 3rd Street in Lake Oswego or call 503-636-5876.
