• Trumpet Skirts: Designers wanted to highlight feminine form, accentuate curves (mannequin)
• Lots of texture - organza, overlays, pleating, peak-a-boo tulle, tone on tone
• Short dresses---change into at the reception, beach weddings, etc. (mannequin)
• Color! Blush is making a huge comeback, others have color accents
• Jackets/cover ups (mannequin)
• Emphasis on the waist---beading & sashes.
• Elegance is key, nothing over the top

• Shop early---6-9 months before the wedding
• Bring only one or two confidants on your dress search
• Make sure to make an appointment for good service
• Bring photos but keep an open mind
