Salvation Army Giving Tree

By AM Northwest Staff

With the season of giving upon us, we have joined with Family Matters with the Salvation Army to help bring joy to thousands of children in need. And our own Janice Bangs went to Lloyd Center Mall to show how you can make a huge difference this holiday season.

As Janice said, it's a sad case at the Salvation Army warehouse, the biggest need is for children 9-12 years followed by 6-8 year olds.

And you saw how little there was for seniors. Major Blix said that gift cards to grocery stores make an especially good gift for these folks.

You have until December 21st to visit any of the 3 Angel Giving Tree locations at Lloyd Center, Cedar Hills Crossing and Washington Square.

For even more information about the Giving Tree just head over to our Family Matters page.
