Today we spoke with self esteem coach and author of Feel Good Naked Laure Redmond about how to ignite Passion in your life and become inspired. Passion comes in many forms. Whether it's a beautiful sunset, a magical night at the theater, or an afternoon filled with the laughter of a child, pay close attention to those things that strike a chord with your emotional core. When you connect with your core (passion), doors open, energy ignites, and the world reveals infinite possibilities.

1. Surround yourself with passionate people - passion can be contagious! When you're in the company of someone who is totally consumed by something they feel passionate about, it's easier to connect with your own passionate thoughts or visions.
2. Service – Be inspired and motivated to use the knowledge and experience that got you through your biggest challenges. Being there for those in need can be a powerful way to experience passion, while utilizing your most important life lessons.
3. Follow your heart. Pay far more attention to what *you* think than what everyone else thinks. Start now. Make your own rules and follow them. At the end of your life, the most important person you'll have to please is you.
4. Develop a strong "maverick muscle." Be willing to bend the rules, learn how to disappoint others gracefully, get comfortable with people not liking you, and always strive to be an original thinker.
5. Live by this mantra: where there's a will, there's a way. Don't give up when things get hard and don't ever let anyone or anything put limits on you.
6. Re-focus your mind. Too often people spend a lot of time lamenting the past and feeling anxious about the future. Replace … what if’s … I should … why didn't I … with an inspiring thought like: "I choose to enjoy being in my body."
7. Go to the library or bookstore. Whether you read fiction or nonfiction, books will provide you with many clues about what inspires you the most.
