AM Northwest dedicated the entire hour to celebrate with Friends of the Children.

KATU and Family Matters were challenged by Oprah's Big Give to raise $100,000 for Friends of the Children, Portland youth mentoring program that reaches out to at-risk children.

The community of Portland was able to help by making a financial contribution or donating goods and services.
