eBay Selling Tips

Al Raines stopped by to tell us how to make some extra cash in this weakening economy. He believes eBay can be the answer. He gave us tips on how to use eBay and how easy it can be by following these guidelines.

Buy something first, real or fake (would you open a store without looking at the competition?)

Find things around the house that you want to sell, get rid of, update, etc.

  • Cell phones
  • Collectables
  • Older or Newer items/Used or Unopened
  • Cameras
  • Electronics, old games
  • What would a buyer want, do, etc. (think like a buyer when listing)
  • Don’t sell junk --- unless you say it’s junk! (Broke things can sell)
  • Go international -- Let the weak dollar work for you

In the last month I have sold to:

  • Australia
  • Bahrain
  • Canada, a lot
  • Germany
  • Hungary
  • Ireland
  • Mexico
  • Russia
  • United Kingdom
