World's Fastest Eater

Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Champion, Joey Chestnut, as well as competitive eaters, Rich and Carlene Le Fevre, join us to share about this fascinating sport.  They are world champs of eating everything from  hot dogs and chicken wings, to cake and jalapenos.

Joey Chesnut holds records in asparagus, chicken wings, grilled cheese sandwiches and hamburgers. He won Rookie of the Year in 2005 and has defeated the great Kobayashi in the Nathan's hot dog eating contest three times. His career began in 2005 and he will be competing this weekend (July 11th through the 13th) in the Chinook Winds Competitive Rib Eating Championship, a contest he has won three times.

Rich Le Fevre nicknamed "The Locust" is a competitive eater from Henderson, Nevada and he and his wife Carlene, also a competitive eater, are both top ranked members of the International Federation of Competitive Eating. Rich holds world records in cake eating, chili, and corn dogs and spam...ironically, his wife's least favorite food to eat in competition. Rich Le Fevre will also be competing this weekend at the Chinook Winds Rib Eating Championship.
