Etiquette Tips for Kids

Going back to school can be overwhelming for children of all ages, especially if they are entering middle school for the first time. There are new rules and regulations to memorize, plus they must learn how to get along with not just one, but six new teachers.  Shawna Schuh, Etiquette Expert, gives us advice on how to help kids be on their best behavior while at school.

Tips:

Kids learn all behavior somewhere...both good and bad.  What are you modeling?

Fact: Kids want to fit in, be liked, impress others, and gain recognition- so if they were going to meet or be a guest at their favorite idols home, how would they want to be perceived?  Build a plan of behavior that would be the right thing if they met their hero.

Teach your children how to be respectful, how to treat things, how to be safe, and how to treat someone.
