World's Fastest Amputee

We are joined by April Holmes, known as  "the world's fastest amputee," and she shares her inspiring story with us.  Not only is she a talented athlete and Paralympian, but she is also a dedicated advocate for people with physical disabilities.  April was hit by a train and lost one of her legs, but instead of letting it hold her back, she was determined to pursue her dream.  Monday, she will be traveling to the White House to meet the President with other Olympians and Paralympians.

April Holmes will be speaking tonight at a fund raising dinner, the Harvest Gala, hosted by Incight, which will be held in the Heritage Ballroom of the Governor's Hotel at 6:30p.m.  Visit Incight's website for more information about their Resources for Self-Empowerment and how to get involved.
