Hope for the Holidays is a campaign supporting the  Portland Police Bureau  Sunshine Division. The Sunshine Division provides emergency food boxes to families in need. Due to the economy this year, the donations are down and the need is greater. Here to talk about the Sunshine Division’s needs are Officer Phil Kent, from the Sunshine Division, John Hren, Chair of Advantis Credit Union and Bill Gander, owner of Standard TV & Appliance.

Advantis  Credit Union and Standard TV & Appliance are sponsors of this campaign. Both organizations are collecting non-perishable food at all their locations. Advantis Credit Union is also accepting cash donations for the Sunshine Division.

Now, more than ever Portland families are struggling financially which leaves less money for food. Please help the less fortunate this year  by donating non-perishable food or cash donations.
