International Makeup Artist Kristen Arnett joined us today to show us the most common makeup mistakes made by women over 40 -- and how to fix them!  You can reach Kristen by going to her website.

Here are the mistakes Kristen talked about on the show:

•  Wearing foundation that is too dry/powdery or too light in color.
•  Wearing eyeliner that is too harsh in color or thickness.  Stay away from putting heavy lines on your eyes!
• Undefined eyebrows.  Eyebrows lose color and fullness as we age.  Choose a color one shade lighter than your haircolor.
• Improperly concealed undereye circles.  Light creates the illusion that something is coming forward, so stay away from light and sparkle when concealing darkness under your eyes. 
• Wearing sparkles or glitter anywhere on your face!  Kristen says glitter is "workable" for women 25 and under.
• Wearing  frosted lipsticks and eyeshadows or wearing lipsticks that are too dark.

Kristen suggests putting makeup only where you need it.
