Crafts Kids Can Make for Dad

If you're tight on time Teen Craft Experts Sophie Bangs and Melanie Merlo had easy craft ideas the kids can make for Dad in plenty of time for Father's Day.

To embellish a cotton T-shirt just buy some fabric pens and puffy paint from any local craft store. To make a perfect baseball trace around an upside down bowl and then use the edges of the bowl for the baseball "stitching". It helps to do your tracing in pencil before committing to pen and paint. Trace your baseball outline in pen and then do the "stitching" in puffy paint. Then write anything of your choice that says how much you love your dad.

For a cute picture frame use small objects that might hold special memories for your dad such as golf tees or shells from trips to the beach and apply with a hot glue gun and then write on the frame with fun puffy paint. Then make a cool certificate to honor Dad which you can put in the frame. Handwrite or print one off the computer and then crumple. Steep a tea bag and then drizzle tea over paper for an aged look. Allow to dry before putting in frame.
