The Loveliest Woman in America

After receiving a treasure trove of diary entries that belonged to her grandmother, Rosamond Pinchot, Bibi Gaston, author of The Loveliest Woman in America, began to explore the life of the young woman who was born into a wealthy and powerful family, and who quickly became a Hollywood and Broadway star of the 1920s and 1930s. Though she was a beloved actress and socialite, Rosamond committed suicide at the young age of 33. Bibi’s investigation into the emotional turmoil that brought her grandmother to such a decision grows into an exploration of her own life, her family’s history, and a bygone era that remains iconic in the American psyche.

Bibi has a Reading and Signing at 7:30 tonight at Annie Bloom’s Books located at 7834 SW Capitol Highway.
