5 Behaviors for a Healthier 2010

Nutritionist and Wellness Coach, Rania Batayneh, joined us today to tell us the five things we can do to be healthier in 2010:


  • Know your vitals- be your own health advocate.  This includes weight, blood pressure, cholesterol and your metabolism (see the changes as the years go on and work towards maintaining healthy levels) Being healthy allows you to avoid high health care costs. If you do not have time for health now, you will have to make time for illness later!
  • Eat breakfast
  • Get on a CONSISTENT sleep/wake cycle
  • Stay hydrated- don’t turn to the 2nd afternoon coffee or latte for energy, you are probably dehydrated
  • Think Care, Not Calories -- STOP DIETING- the No Diet Diet is the trend now.  Watch less tv- get ACTIVE- it is a simple equation-
