Surviving Bad News

Diane Dennis, Life Transition Coach, says that with so many people today suffering losses today, it is important that we learn how to honor our co workers, colleagues and friends feelings by learning communication tools, watch for non verbal cues, and offer comfort. While we are all familiar with the suffering one incurs from death, other forms of suffering, such as job loss, divorce, accidents, financial difficulties, etc. might not get the same respect. Diane had tips for recognizing the signs that your friend may be suffering, and advice for helping them cope with their grief, including what not to say.
