Bossman's Mom's Pumpkin Nut Bread

Pumpkin Nut Bread
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan.
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup pumpkin
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup softened butter
1 cup chopped nuts - walnuts or pecans
Stir together dry ingredients. In another bowl, mix pumpkin, sugar, milk and eggs.
Add dry ingredients and butter -- mix well. Stir in nuts.
Spread in well-greased 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degree oven for 45-55 minutes.
Remove from pan after 10 minutes.
The Pumpkin Nut Bread may be frozen.
