Bowling for Big Brothers Big Sisters

We found out about a fun way to give back to the community -- Bowl for Kids' Sake.  It's a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters.  We were joined by Al Sigala -- from Big Brothers Big Sisters -- along with Big Brother Volunteer Scott Foster and his little brother, Sean, who told us more about the organization's largest fundraiser of the year!

This is how Bowl for Kids' Sake works:

  • Interested parties either start a team or join a team and then select what bowling party they want to attend
  • Each team ($625) or individual ($125) work to raise the funds needed to participate in a bowling party. Each individual would ask their friends/family for $ donations.
  • To celebrate reaching their fundraising goal, the team joins other teams at one of six bowling parties between February and May in various bowling alleys around town.
