Slimmed Down Briefcase: Everything is slimmer these days, so there is no need for that bulky briefcase. Look for a bag that is slim but does not skimp on utility with nice pockets and pouches. And it doesn’t have to be all leather anymore, a durable nylon will stay dry and last a long time.

Herring Bone or Houndstooth Jacket: Dress up and keep warm with a wool piece in a winter pattern. A jacket with a slimmer fit and less bulk will give you a more updated look for a clean fit. This is a great piece to throw on when the temperature drops. Go for grey, you can wear it with any color.
 
Be a Geezer: Take a cue from icons of old-man fashion and make them young again. A cardigan is a perfect example of both classic and vintage. Look for one where the fit has been updated and slimmed and combines different patterns to make a modern piece of knitwear.
 
Henley’s: Update your regular t-shirt with a fitted upgrade called the Henley. It is a great lightweight way to layer under a button down top or sweater to keep warm. The buttons will even make it look great under your favorite blazer.
 
Colored Bottoms: Mustard is the color of the season for the men’s fashion and colored bottoms are making their way around every store. Not far from traditional khaki makes mustard and easy color choice for those who aren’t ready to make a bold choice of red or purple jewel tones. A soft cotton-twill material will move with you all day long.
 
Boots are for guys too: A desert boot will become an indispensible part of your wardrobe. Choose a nice tan that can go with jeans, or, as fashion seems to be taking to the unconventional places lately, with a great suit. Break them in like a pair of sneakers!
