What are the Signs to Look for When Someone is Having a Stroke?
It's important to remember the word FAST.
*Face: Is the mouth slanting down? Unusual expression?
*Arm: Is the arm numb? And can you raise your arm?
*Speech: Is the speech slurred? Having trouble putting together words?
*Time: Call 9-1-1. Get to the emergency room as soon as possible! The longer you wait....the more damage to the brain.
