Hands-Only CPR Saves Lives
Cardiac arrest is more common than many realize and it can happen to anyone-- anytime, anywhere. Survival may depend on the readiness of bystanders. Of the nearly 300,000 out-of-hospital sudden cardiac arrests than occur annually, only 32% of the victims get CPR. Effective CPR can double or triple the victim's chances of survival. Diana Cave with the American Heart Association joined us in support of CPR Awareness Week to show us all how simple hands-only CPR can be.
