National Cancer Survivor's Day

Cancer Survivor Robert Lisac shared his personal story of being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at age 12 and his journey to medical school. National Cancer Survivors Day,  is a free event (with free parking at Rose Quarter Garage) on Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Rose Quarter. The event includes creative, health & wellness activities like food, photobooth keepsakes, fun kids activities, beading cancer bracelets, henna tattoos, and music by Trailblazers DJ O.G. ONE. It’s the 26th annual national celebration of life for cancer survivors of all ages, their friends, families & health care providers. There will be multiple hospital and cancer centers at the event.
