Pickling to Preserve Food

 

Pickling food is a great way to preserve the bounty of your garden or the farmer's market.  Popular food blogger and native Portlander Marisa McClellan joined us to share a recipe from her new cookbook, Food in Jars-- Dill Pickles!
But pickles aren't the only recipes in her book-- she's got basics like jams and jellies, along with chutneys, conserves, whole fruit, tomato sauces, salsas, marmalades, nut butters, seasonings, and more.
