Cancer Prevention Study
Providence Cancer Center and the American Cancer Society are working on one of the biggest research projects ever – a groundbreaking study that will have an enormous impact on our ability to prevent cancer. The goal is to sign up 300,000 men and women nationwide, ages 30 to 65, who have never had cancer (people may have had basal or squamous skin cancer and still participate). By studying individuals over the course of 20 to 30 years, researchers will better understand the genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors that cause or prevent cancer. To participate:
