Simple Holiday Dieting for Guys

Controlling your holidays so they don't control you...the Simple Guy way! Skip Lei, Author of SimpleGuy Diet, shared his tips for not over-indulging this holiday season.

Three simple parts:

1. Manage Your Consumption

A. Master the portion flip (changing what foods you put on your Christmas plate)

B. For MAJOR EVENTS use a MINOR PLATES

C.  Control your beverage with the "One – Two Method" ….a simple tip and a good question for Helen to ask me

2. Come in "event ready"

     A.  Have a snack before your party starts
          -  a handful of baby carrots or almonds and show up to visit.....not to eat!  Focus on the people, not the food!

3. Bring things you can make..... and enjoy.

RED:  red peppers, tomatoes, radishes, beets
GREEN:  cucumbers, spinach avocados, bustle sprouts, cilantro, pea pods
