The Harmful Effects of Children's Bragging

"I’m smarter than you… richer than you…bigger than you… cooler than you… BETTER THAN YOU!" This kind of boastful behavior is not only obnoxious and annoying, it’s also on the rise among kids in the U.S—a disturbing trend that can be damaging to children on the giving and receiving end.

In Trudy Ludwig's latest book, Better Than You, the author uses empathy and humor to cut right into the heart of bragging. With a foreword by Today show contributor and child expert Dr. Michele Borba, Better Than You, is the only children’s book that gives kids insight into what lies beneath the urge to brag and helps them deal with the pervasive “better than you” attitude of their peers.

Trudy has a Book Reading at 10:00 am on Saturday Janaury 21st at the Barnes & Noble at Tanasbourne.
