Going on vacation forces me to choose favorites -- my beauty favorites.  With so many flying fees, a carry-on is definitely the way to go…so paring down is essential.  That doesn’t mean I can’t bring my favorite products.  It just means I need to consolidate and find products that are under the 3 oz limit and all fit into ONE cosmetic bag.
Here are my picks!

Stila Travel Palettes--‐
These palettes are extremely compact, have 4--‐5 eye shadows and a blush/lipstick.  They range in price from $10 to $16.  I found mine for $10.  This palette is perfect when you need a makeup with big impact but you don’t have a lot of space in your bag.

The Balm Betty Luminizer Bronzer--‐
Bronzer is a must-have for travel because it really does pull together a look – especially if you are staying out of the sun but still want a summer glow.  I use the Balm Betty Luminizer, but any bronzer you already own will do the trick!

Face Stockhom Black Eyeliner--‐
I always carry eyeliner with me on vacation.  It’s small and can take a daytime look into nighttime in seconds.

Mascara--‐
For traveling, I take along travel-size mascara.  Too Faced makes some of my favorites.  Their Lash Injection mascara is great and comes in a small travel size.  Just make sure that you choose waterproof if you’re going somewhere warm and humid.

Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation ($62.00) –
This is one of my favorite foundations.  It offers flawless coverage, a little goes a long way, and it’s under the 3oz limit!  Plus, it’s more than just a foundation; it’s a skin care product too.  And most importantly, it’s SPF 15!

Dermablend Quick Fix Concealer--‐
Even the best of us have dark under-eye circles or get a blemish on vacation.  This concealer offers great coverage and a little goes a long way.

Lipstick--‐
Even though the Stila palette does have a product for lips, I always bring a chap stick and at least two other color options.  Wet & Wild has nice inexpensive lipsticks for only $2.99.

ELF blotting tissues--‐
For $1.00 these blotting tissues are a great addition to anyone’s travel bag – even men!

Skincare--‐
Since I am a skincare junkie, my skincare products take up the most room in my cosmetics bag.  I always bring along makeup remover/cleanser wipes, a good moisturizer, eye cream and sunscreen.  Find them all in travel sizes if you want to save even more space.
